Comes in a 750 ml champagne bottle, with some sediment. Light golden colour, with an aroma of perfumed, ripe pear, and hay, finishing with a sweet farmyard funk. Fruity and sweet flavour, with hints of ripe apricot, citrus, and tropical fruits, developing seaweed and an earthy funk in the aftertaste and finish. Surprising flavours make for a complex and changeable taste experience. A most unusual perry, for which I am willing to overlook the high degree of carbonation.
