Revival Hard Apple

Clear light golden color, tropical fruit notes. Slightly bitter finish.

This is a nice standard when you don't know what cider to order. Good with a pulled pork sammie. ;-)

This is a great apple cider. Smooth, mellow flavour, delicate aroma, easy to drink...a lot of. :-). I had the wrong cider in mind when I reviewed this with less enthusiasm a few months ago so am glad I got to have a couple bottles tonight and reassess.

Smooth without too much acidity, bitterness, sourness, etc. I love the tropical flavors (which are only from the special yeast which was used, no additions besides Mexican Piloncillo sugar). I've had both bottled and on tap. Note there is also a "Revival Dry" variety, but this is the original sweeter and more common version.

I don't know if there are 2 Rev Nat's revivals, but the one I'M tasting here at Shilling in Fremont is not dry, but semi-sweet. Very nice smooth cider which has nice apple flavor without too much sweet nor astringency. Full body with nice semi-sweet with no bitter after taste.

From 6-pack can. Odd fruit aromas and flavor. Almost reminds me of a lager beer. Other than that it has a rich apple flavor with moderate sweetness and sparkling carbonation. Low tartness or sourness. Solid choice for a widely available cider but nothing too special
