Strong taste of bitter peel, not for me at all

Golden yellow in colour, with a fresh, fruity, apple aroma. The initial flavour is toffee apple, but this quickly gives way to a crisp, dryish aftertaste. Lacks depth and complexity, and is similar to a dry, common draft cider. Drinkable, but unexceptional.

Abrahall's AD Dry Cider (6% ABV, 500ml). Another Celtic Marches cider made from fresh apples from their own farm(s), a blend of bitter sweet and sharp cider apples – Dabinett, Michelin and Kingston Black. The "AM" Cider is one of my favourites, so I'm looking forward to this one. Bright, clear deep golden colour. Rather naff dry apples and vague floral notes in the aroma, not a lot. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Taste is a bit more fruity, but still dry with sour accents. Tannic bitterness in the finish and aftertaste, with apple cores. Rather bland. Not a keeper, sadly. 6/10.

Golden, clear, medium dry. Very drinkable but rather lacking character. Had bag in awkward box seemingly designed for pub cellar rather than gravity dispense. Ideally would score it 3.5.

Golden colour, clear and moderately fizzy. Fresh apple aroma. A little toffee in the flavour with a dry woody finish.
