Pale amber, with a dry aroma, carrying new oak and beeswax. Bittersweet apple with spice, and an aftertaste of warm tannins with a herbal edge. It should be allowed to warm a little, rather than served fully chilled, to bring out the full depth and range of flavour.

(Tasted on October 6, 2023) Celitic Marches "Abrahalls AM Medium Cider" (6% ABV, 500ml). Made from three different varieties of cider apples (Dabinett, Michelin, and Kingston Black) in Herefordshire. Pours a clear bright golden colour; very mildly vinegary, fruity aroma of apples against a background of tannins and beeswax. Mild carbonation. Intense first taste of tangy apples, vinegar, some caramel, medium sweet. Tannins and vinegar in the finish, ripe, tart apples in the aftertaste. Very engaging traditional cider, certainly one of the best I've tried yet. 9/10
