Apple Vice

Fantastic cider my joint favourite Ventons one along with sweet maid.Proper cider drinkers appreciate how good this one is. Not chemical at all!

I did not like this at all, it had a mild fruity smell with an edge I couldn't place. My first taste was very unpleasant it had a urine taste with mild apple and a TCP aftertaste. I persisted thinking I would get used to it. the chemically/TCP taste improved but I couldn't get paste the strong pee taste.

Dark amber colour, pretty cloudy and still. Apple aroma with a little funk. Flavour is earthy and finishes with a little citrus and some tannins.

Traditional-style West Country cider. Sharp, tannic in flavour, and hazy, orange in appearance. There are hints of citrus peel in the aftertaste. I prefer a cleaner taste, but this is one of the better still ciders I've had, though not sure I'd want too many of these together.
