Cloudy amber, with an aroma of straw and sawdust. Soft, fruity flavour, becoming strongly woody and slightly bitter, with a little sweet funk in the finish. Lacks depth, and a little too heavy on the woodiness, without the tannins to back that up, in the aftertaste, to make this particularly satisfying.
