Dark bronze, with an aroma of ripe plums, carrying a hint of coffee and funk. Very fruity, with plums, raisins, and banana, and a touch of caramel in the finish. Dark, rich, and complex, with loads of ripe fruits. This would go beautifully with a traditional Cumbrian teabread, or a buttery Eccles cake.
