Falstaff Bramley

Colour of white wine, still and slightly hazy. Aroma of apricot. Wine flavour along with pears. Smooth with nice mouthfeel.

Very pale green-yellow, with a sharp cooking-apple aroma. The flavour is reminiscent of a Viognier wine, with tones of pear and apricot making this as much like a perry as a cider, though no pears are used. The mouth feel is also wine-like. Well-balanced and crafted cider; unfortunately, not one that appeals greatly to my palate, though others, I am sure, would disagree. It went really nicely with a smoked cheddar.
