Orange-brown in colour, with an aroma like mellow quince jam. Moderate sediment in the bottle. Thick and fruity, with an emphasis on tree fruits, mainly plum and quince; light tannins in the finish. Out of the ordinary, but enjoyable. Not very sessionable; however, it is very much worth a try.
