I've had this twice, really want to like it but it is just OK. Had the 4.8ABV sparking and the stronger flat and they're much the same. Dirty peach colour(looks lovely), moderate carbonation. Slightly farm yard funky smell. Small amount of citrus notes. The carbonation takes away from the deep tannin notes this cider has to offer. Not massively dry but the tannin is the over arching theme of the cider. For me the tastes aren't varied enough to rate it higher

Mine was a stronger (6%) bag-in-box version of the bottled 4.8%. Cloudy, fruity and tart. Had at Tamworth Beer Festival.

I’ve tried lots of ciders and NEVER, have I been driven to review one. Literally started this account just to give a review on this cider while I’m waiting for waitress to get me something else. Visiting the Cotswolds (Bourton on the water) an old stomping ground from my Military assignment in England from ‘91-93. Maybe the restaurant that served me and another patron sitting close by, received a skunked batch but I swear to you, I’ve never had a cider that had a cheesy aroma and/or aftertaste before this one. The other patron left his (poored from the bottle) glass full on the table as well. I’ve drank some pretty skank beers and ciders among other things… but this by far…. No, Nope, Never again…. Unless someone hands it to me from the brewery and says … you must have had a skunked case, try this one, I smell it and get no cheesy aroma… then I’ll taste it.

Deep golden colour, moderate cloudiness and fizz. Ripe apple aroma. Baked apple flavour.

Too bitter for me, with a sour aftertaste. Nice aroma & taste, but aftertaste & fruitiness let it down.
