Dark orange colour, moderate turbidity and still. Light eating apple aroma with smoke the dominant aroma. Fruity with apricot and wood. Smooth and drinkable. Mine at 6.9% differs from the 7.4% of the original review. I also note that bottles appear to be available in both 500ml and 750ml. I have also previously had this with an identifiable years vintage on it whilst that is not the case with this.

Comes in a 750 ml screw-top bottle, with light sediment. Orangey-brown in colour, with a soft, resinous, woody aroma. Soft, mellow, fruit, with a little toffee, becoming sharply tannic and woody, and with a little earthy funk, culminating in a raisin finish. Satisfyingly complex, with an interesting flavour profile. Very drinkable, though the higher ABV means its sessionability is somewhat limited. Good quality, traditional, rustic cider.
