Rich copper colour, with an aroma heavy in aged oak, and carrying an edge of earthy funk. Tangy, fresh apple juice flavour, developing soft oak and tannins in the aftertaste, and an earthy finish. Well-rounded, very drinkable, and with plenty of character. Very nice, fireside cider. Lives up to its name!
