I'm not much of a Perry drinker, the sweeter ones can have a strong laxative effect. This one was very nice, clear and somewhat dry.

Dark golden colour, slightly hazy and still. Strong pear aroma. Fruity flavour with a little wood. Smooth and astringent.

Comes in a 750 ml screw-top bottle, with slight sediment. Dark amber, with a strong, ripe pear aroma. Smooth, rich pear flavour, becoming drier and astringent in the aftertaste, with light oak. All the elements are there, but the harmony is missing. Drinkable, but too dry for the flavour profile, making this a little disappointing.
