The pour is silver that turns pale yellow in the glass. It has a light effervescence. The aroma is sour and burnt rubber. Hey, I’m trying to write as I experience it! The taste is sour and a little tart but it’s definitely sour forward and the same burnt rubber element comes through. The finish is medium and sour. It’s has some body and mouthfeel but I don’t get astringent. It’s growing on me a little but I don’t get traditional, which is all they say except that it contains sulfites. For me traditional would be high tannins and some earthy farmhouse. I’d call it modern farmhouse as the funk is more sour versus traditional.
