A note on production - it is made from a combination of fresh apples and quince and frozen / defrosted in the sun quince sourced from the San Juans. They only make it in small batches. Very delicate flavor, slightly perfumy with a floral aftertaste. Reminiscent of a good Breton Cidre

Very unique smell and taste. Taste has what I would describe as a vegetal flavor with some herbal and pineapple qualities.

Quince is better than apple or perry for me. It's got a richer, fruitier flavour, and a smoother finish.

Semi-dry, but due to the "sweet" flavors, it is perceived a bit sweeter. Carbonated mouthfeel. Very distinctive complex flavor, difficult to describe. I definitely pick up tropical aspects, some vanilla & honey, and a touch of herbal/floral quality. Only a slight tartness, and no bitterness, which can be difficult to accomplish with a drier cider. Very well crafted cider! It drinks more like 5% than 8% ABV; very smooth. Some wine-like qualities. Most similar to Reverend Nat's Revival, which also has some tropical aspects to it. Eaglemount by comparison is slightly less sweet and has a more distinctively complex flavor. Epic & complex. Highly recommended, one of my favorites! Worth the $20 / 750ml bottle price tag if you are wanting to treat yourself. Limited availability (currently only Portland OR and Port Townsend & Seattle WA), but they have an online store.

I've never tasted a quince before but I think it tastes like a pruny flavored drink to me. Very sweet flavor kind of like a dessert wine.
