Wild Summer

Very pale yellow colour almost like water, slightly sparkling and clear. Aroma is of sweet elderflower presse. Flavour of elderflower. It overwhelms the apple which is the wrong way around for me.

Single batch, still cider, made from a blend of dessert and cider apples, and flavoured with fresh elderflowers. Whilst I will probably never take to elderflower cider, this is a vast improvement on the others I have tried. This pale yellow cider looks exactly like an elderflower cordial and smells accordingly. The flavour is mostly of elderflower, with only a hint of the underlying cider. Sweet, but not excessively so.
