Zombie Killer

Thankfully, recommended to me by Paige at Boutique Wines and Spirits in Fishkill, NY. Hands down, best cider ever. Strong finish of cherries. Balanced. Delicious.

I enjoyed the overall balance of this cider. Not overly sweet, and a great balance of tartness.

This is a cyser style mead, a honey wine made with apple cider. B. Nektar did a wonderful job adding the tart cherry flavor to this cyser. It may be a little more sweet than some like but it is a great mead!

Pale copper/ apricot in colour, with an aroma of cherry skin, wax, and wood shavings. Fruity, but the cherry only becomes distinct in the aftertaste and finish, whilst the honey is very subtle. Understated compared to most cherry ciders, and less sweet than most cysers. Although it lacks character, and it was far from what I expected, I found this quite drinkable, with a pleasant flavour and mouth feel.

Very sweet. Didn’t taste any cherry. Kind of grows on you after a few sips.

The pour is a cloudy Reddish hue with low carbonation. The aroma is mildly fruity with a strong honey note at the end. The taste is a semi-sweet tart apple with notes of cherry and honey. The finish is short and acidic. It has a little astringency. The mouthfeel is light and thin. It’s an enjoyable tartish cider.

A quite sweet cider flavored with cherry. Very lightly carbonated, pale apricot color. Not our favorite but this cider will appeal to many others!

500ml bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Pours a clear orangey salmon pink colour, shortlived white foam head and aroma of honey, sweet apple, cherry marzipan note. Taste is sweet, honeycomb, fruity apple & cherry, light woody. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, quite clean finish with some lingering light cherry. Nicely drinkable.

At Cider Summit Chicago. I love this! I should have sampled all varieties they had. The honey compliments this so well. I would bet that their meads are just as flavorful and complex.
