This is a semi-sweet cider that seemed on the sweeter end of that category. I picked up honey notes in the aroma and flavor, with light peach and caramel and mild citrus pineapple. There is some earthiness/funk as well. The can noted smokey bacon, which I didn't really pick up on, but this has been in my refrigerator for about 8 months and not sure how long in the store. Terra - a farmhouse field blend from Revel Cider
Rustic and fruity, black cherries, tart apricot. Very funky and earthy/barnyard, reminds me of some funky Belgian yeast phenolic. 62% cider & 38% perry. A mix of culinary apples, Dolgo crabapple and pears. Acid is noticeable, but smoothed somewhat by months of maturation on lees. Very nice, limited production of 45 cases, per the label. Kinglet Bitter from aeppelTreow Winery
Notable culinary apple flavor with subtle strawberry, red cherry, red currant. There is a mild acid and higher tannin balance, that is a bit grippy in the finish, like fresh ginger. Very easy drinking, if you like drier cider. There is a bit of sweetness, semi-dry IMO. Reviewed on 26 Jan 2025 1 like
