Gotta say we really enjoyed this cider. Definitely sour and funky. Slightly challenging but very appealing.

Slightly hazy light green apple colored pour. Dry and tart apple flavor with some hints of oak. Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Tartness becomes stronger as the cider warms developing a taste similar to a Granny Smith apple.

Made from 55% Blaze, 20% Gala, 10% Mutsu, 10% Johnathan, and 5% Cameo, aged in French & American oak barrels. Sour ciders definitely aren't to my liking....I find they overwhelm all the other flavors (so I couldn't even pick up any influence from the barrel aging). It sucks to not enjoy an $18 cider, but I'm glad I gave it a try.
