Apple-Sweet

amazing cider! the combination of the apple taste, which shines in this one and taste not a bit synthetic with the good sparkling makes it to a great cider. you can drink multiple ones by not feeling tired of it. really recommended!

Henney's Frome Valley Apple Sweet Cider (6% ABV, 500ml). Another Herefordshire cider made from a blend of dry cider, plus some apple juice for added fruitiness. No sugar, no water (AFAICT). Deep clear golden colour. Strong vanilla and yellow apples in the nose. Quince, wee hints of wood. But mostly vanilla. Not as sweet as advertised, certainly not cloying. Medium body, mild carbonation. Again, yellow apples and strong vanilla on the palate, ripe bananas, medium sweet. Very fruity. Finish is dry at first, with sweet lemon, bit of beeswax, tannins, apple skins, wood. Excellent. 8/10.

Amber-coloured, with an aroma of fresh, crisp dessert apples. Fruity flavour, with some skin and a hint of spice. Pleasant, refreshing, easy to drink, and well-made, but a little two dimensional.
