Blood Orange

Tastes like a carbonated orange drink more than anything in the cider family.

Cloudy orange pour with moderate carbonation. Light aroma with a bit of citrus and apple. Taste is mildly tart with an acidic blood orange flavor dominating.

Strong orange aroma, semi-sweet, and strong fruit flavor.

The nose is blood orange and yeast. The taste is kind of.... lacking. I think it’s missing acid, which wouldn’t be expected for blood orange. I don’t really get much blood orange in the taste or finish. The pour is cloudy and surprisingly, not very red. The finish is yeast, mostly like esters and I would guess they are using a lager yeast if I had to place a bet. Not bad but not memorable.

Pretty tasty! Nice balance of citrus tang and sweetness, I’d drink this one again.

Lighter in aroma and orange taste than I was hoping to get. Easy to drink and solid all around cider. Not remarkable but I would drink it again.

This cider seems huge this spring. The citrus is nice but not too strong.

Kind of like eating a juicy orange
