Pineapple

The pour is a cloudy yellow with light effervescence. The aroma is pineapple and some yeast. The taste is semi sweet with some pineapple and tart. The finish is slightly acidic and a little phenolic. It doesn’t have much body or mouthfeel and no real tannins or bitters. It’s okay. I’d prefer it to be a little more tart.

Saw a billboard for Austin Eastciders while in San Antonio on vacation. After 30 minutes and 3 stores, we found the pineapple (thanks to the company website). Glad we did! Very light pineapple flavor cider with not too much sweet. Perfect for the 103 degree day! Give it a try if you are in Texas!

Cloud pale gold pour with a lot of carbonation that leaves a small white head. Moderate pineapple aroma. Taste has a nice pineapple forward flavor backed by a hint of red apple and honey.

The flavor is pretty good. Not too sweet not too dry. I think what gets it three stars instead of 4 is its kind of flat and I think it would taste better with light carbonation

Light pineapple aroma and flavor. Light bodied cider with almost no carbonation.

Semi-dry to semi-sweet. Nice pineapple flavor, but I've liked some other pineapple ciders better, like from 2 Towns (drier) and Jester & Judge and Rev Nat's (both sweeter). I think the lack of carbonation and some extra body made it seem sweeter than it actually is, as it was listed at only 13g sugar/can. Surprised that their website said they used bittersweet cider apples in addition to the dessert varieties you'd expect; I'm guessing not much.

Nicely done, not super sweet like other pineapple ciders I've had but rather slightly tart and moderately dry.
