Tried on Nitro tap at the Schilling Cider House. This is part of the new Champoeg series of unfiltered dry ciders made with organic hops from Pat Leavy’s Oregon Hophouse outside of Butteville, near Champoeg Park in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. "X-17" stands for an experimental variety. I used to say I didn't like hopped ciders (or beer), but now that I've found three I don't mind, I may have to instead say I don't like strongly hopped ciders. The hops flavor remains very mild with this, more herbal & floral than anything. Its a dry cider but approachable. Overall the flavor was kinda blah for my tastes, and the Nitro didn't seem to add anything (except some extra foam), but not bad at all.
