Golden Harvest Dry

Clear amber colour, intial moderate carbonation which settled down quickly. A smell I can't quite describe, partially because there isn't much to go on and because what there is, is just unusual for a cider (vanilla?). Gradual mild dry taste which fades as the tannin kicks in. However this soon disappears rather too quick. As you get further down the pint, the tannin flavours linger for a little longer. Refreshing cider with a lower ABV.

Light cider, not enough bite for my taste although it is drinkable.

Amber, with a leather aroma, overlying ripe fruit. Fruity, with a metallic edge, becoming tannic, with light oak in the aftertaste, with a mineral finish. Complex, with depth, but a little over-carbonated (I would have given 4 stars otherwise).

Dry,apple,refreshing

Golden colour, moderately fizzy and clear. Leather aroma. Fruity with a little oak.
