Bag in a Box dispense at William Stead Darlington JDW 2017 cider fest. Hazy golden colour and aroma of light funk. Taste is mellow apple, fruity, slight citric tartness, hay, light funk. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth dry finish. Quite drinkable.

This edition is rated at 6.8% ABV, not the previous 6.2%. Bronze-coloured, with an aroma of ripe fruit, caramel, and straw, with a faint funk. Rich, mellow fruit flavour, with soft tannin and a hint of toffee apple in the aftertaste. Late season apples give this its rich sweetness, and mellow character. I would have liked a tart fruit pie to accompany this, but, sadly, the shops are closed at this time of day ...

A nice introductory English cider...mild to moderate tannins and semi-sweet. Nice richness and apple & yeast forward. Notes of pomace, orange, and leather. It reminds me a bit of French cider.

More of a traditional medium cider, than Worley's keeved. This is simple, uncomplex and unchallenging in its presentation. Good fruit nose and palate, reasonably well balanced and any more sweet would be hard for me to palate.
