I think I'd like this cider if it weren't for the astringency. But wow, you just can't ignore it. I've been asked many times to explain astringency, and I finally have a perfect answer. This cider.

This cider reminds me of a drier Wandering Angus Bloom. It is Earthy and has nice apple flavor but it has more astringency and bitter after taste than I care for.

Found at Full Throttle Bottles in Seattle WA. Definitely high tannins and astringency, which come from using real cider apples. I still liked it though, especially when it warmed up a bit. Very rich and smooth.
