Dark purple in colour, with a light blackcurrant aroma. The flavour is initially light and fruity, dominated by the natural blackcurrant taste, but this is relatively mild. The aftertaste carries a definite smoky oak character, which contrasts very nicely with the fruit. Very interesting and unusually complex fruit cider. I would happy drink this again!
