Prickly Pear

Aside from prickly pear juice, this has pear, pineapple, passion fruit, and mango. As well, of course, as a semi dry cider base from fresh pressed apples. Definitely more of a cocktail than a serious, traditional cider, but quite a pleasant drink. The various fruits blend well with a nice tart bite.

Clear cherry red pour. Moderate carbonation. Moderate to strong fruity nose. Taste is tart and semi-dry with lots of tropical fruit flavors standing out...mango and passionfruit most of all. Light bodied.

A delicious fruity taste in a dry cider. I love this!

Sour and puckering with a lovely bouquet of fruity flavors throughout. Prickly pear makes me think of a blend of watermelon, lime, and black cherry, and being a cider it also has good hints of semi-dry/semi-sweet apples. Beautiful color and goes down smooth. Quite unique and fun!
