Raspberry & Rhubarb

Peachy-bronxe in colour, with an aroma of raspberry cordial and cooked rhubarb. Tart, sharp, and acidic. Flavour is raspberry candy, with a tannic underlying cider revealed in the aftertaste, and a rhubarb finish. I see what they were trying to do, and it almost works, but not quite. The end result is drinkable and different, but the flavours don't quite work together, drowning out the better elements of each, leaving a cider which comes quite close to tasting like a cough lozenge.
