Rhubarb

Comes in a 750ml screw-top bottle. Hazy, pale yellow, with a fresh rhubarb aroma, carrying a tone of sweet manure funk. Light crisp fruit, with the sour rhubarb asserting itself in the aftertaste, though a cider funk is also evident in the finish. Rustic, fruited cider. Refreshing choice after an afternoon's gardening or splitting logs, but nothing sophisticated about it. Obtained direct from the Orchards of Husthwaite.

Rhubarb is subtle but works well. Despite having a few bubbles, this is a very smooth and easily drinkable cider with a touch of sweet fruityness.
