Ruby Rose

At Chicago Cider Summit. That ABV though! Strong, but the rhubarb is nice. I couldn't drink too much of this, though. Nice catch for DoubleCider's box this month.

I was excited to try this cider. I like rhubarb. I like semi-sweet ciders. Alas, this is not semi-sweet, and the bitterness combined with the dryness is just too much for me.

Cider from B.C. apples with rhubarb and rose hips. I found it more semi-dry than semi-sweet. Notes of rhubarb, strawberry, cranberry, watermelon, and herbal tea. Long warming finish as this is nearly 9.9% ABV. The fruitiness makes you think this would be best for Spring & Summer, but the alcohol content and herbal notes open it up for all seasons.
