This is the second cider I've tried from Potter's, although I didn't realize it when I bought it, as this one was in a can and the Hewes Crab was in a bottle. Right off the bat, I was shocked by how sour it was. Not in a good sour grapefruit way, just in an unbalanced way. I immediately began eating spicy chips in order to be able to finish it. After consuming quite a lot of chips, I was almost able to taste the hibiscus, but I wouldn't call this a grapefruit and hibiscus forward cider. Overall, I found it unpleasant and the most grapefruit I experienced was on my burp after forcing the last of it down. Addendum: I drank another of these to finish the 4-pack and the grapefruit is much more forward and pleasant when the cider is room temperature.

Unbalanced is the perfect description. It tasted like an amateur home brew attempt. The grapefruit is overpowering and the hibiscus is almost nonexistent. Chugged it down cause hey, I paid for it, then on to something more enjoyable.

Quite dry cider with grapefruit peel and hibiscus petals. Ever so slightly salmon in color; mild grapefruit aroma. Light hibiscus offsets some of the grapefruit taste. Slightly bitter but clean and refreshing.
