Much sweeter than my usual tipple but just what my wife would choose.

Rich, golden colour, with an aroma of light wood and spice. Buttery fruit flavour, with leather and spice tones, the spice becoming more pronounced in the finish, suggesting mace and allspice. The combination of sweetness and spice makes this an enjoyable dessert cider, with a good degree of complexity.

The pour is a clear light amber with medium effervescence. The aroma is sharp and tannic apple. The taste is sweet apple with a slight tartness. The finish is long astringent and phenolic. Its okay but I wish it was a little less sweet. I would have enjoyed it more with a little more tartness and acid coming through. I wouldn’t turn it down, especially after a hot summer day.
