Blackcurrant

This is such a deep purple that it is almost black when poured, and has an aroma of blackcurrant cordial, with an underlying funk. Intense, blackcurrant flavour initially masks the cider, but a growing tannic bitterness, and a touch of funk in the finish, hint at the cider base. Possibly the best blackcurrant cider I have tasted, with intense, natural flavours, but also not over-sweet, and allows the cider to show.
