Light orange, with an aroma of strawberry jam. Smooth, mixed fruit flavour, with the cider's tannins evident in the aftertaste, and the cooked strawberry flavour comes through strongly in the finish. Very easy to drink, and quite a pleasant flavour. This is a good dessert cider, which would complement many desserts and cakes. Like many South Down products, it's a very different take from more commercial equivalents.
