I chose Hawke’s Urban Cider over this but my wife and I both enjoyed the sample we tried while at Hawkes Cidery. It was had a nice acid level and floral nose from the hops. It finished with some nice citrus notes from the Centennial hops. I mostly chose the Urban Cider because I make my own hopped varieties and wanted to try their apple versions. I like to both dry hop my ciders as well as make a boiled tea to add some bitters but this version was quite enjoyable and I’d recommend it as a hopped variety. The acids provide a nice finish with the flora of the hops and it was quite refreshing.
