This is a wild yeast ferment from Hawkes Cidery in London using Tempranillo grapes. If you are like me, you had to look that up and find it is a black grape from Spain and Portugal that is used to make full bodies red wines, the reason for the color and the tannins. I enjoyed this but not as much as the All For One, which was my favorite. This one grew on me the more cheese and pizza I ate. I’d order it again. Nice bitters, very dry with some
phenolic notes at the end.
