Mad Bark

This cider is like drinking a baked apple. The cinnamon comes through in the flavor profile and there is a tart and lightly bitter finish. It smells like it tastes and is a delicious fall cider.

Love this for a special occasion cider. Like the cinnamon which adds a distinct flavor. Feels like you’re drinking apple pie

Slightly cloudy dark gold pour. Strong aroma of apple pie and cinnamon. Sweet taste that follows the nose...kind of like drinking an apple pie. Lots of baked apple (touch of tartness), cinnamon and hints of a few other winter spices.

My first thought after tasting this was fall and pumpkin pie. Good as a dessert cider. Sweet and syrupy. Can’t imagine it with a meal. It’s too much like a candy apple. Drink alone. I’d like to try it with vanilla ice cream.

The pour is a slightly hazy gold with light to medium effervescence. The aroma is apple pie. The taste is sweet apple followed by cinnamon and tart. The finish short and mostly acidic with a slightly bitter from the spices. It’s not a sweet as I thought it’d be with 21 grams of residual sugar. There isn’t much body or mouthfeel. It’s okay.
