I was intrigued by the construction of this cider. The fruit aroma is very mild, as is the fruit taste. The barrel-aging flavors dominate the fruit flavor, and you are left with a very smooth, oak/whiskey-forward cider where the only real hint that it is a cider comes from the acidity. An interesting drink to have and share with others who love ciders, but lacking the real apple-forward taste that I look for in a daily-drinker. Still, if you're in the mood for something different, pick up a few cans of this and experience something altogether different.

Aged in whiskey barrels for 10 months — and tastes like it! Strong and smooth cider - a great choice for whiskey lovers, not ideal for those looking to tease out the apple flavor.

Good but too much whiskey for my palate.
