Cider and stout was a common drink when I was a teen (and a right bastard to pour!), called a "Black Velvet". This is made from Waulkmill cider and Five Islands bottle-conditioned Dark Stout from Whithorn, and comes in the 330 ml bottle. The aroma and flavour are dominated by the stout; a little more cider in the mix would have been welcome. Obtained direct from Waulkmill.
