Unusually, this is made from crab apples, and flavoured with fresh stem ginger. Pale with a slight orange hue. The aroma is nondescript and, unfortunately, not altogether pleasant, reminding me a little of cat urine. However, the flavour is actually quite good; relatively mild, but with a definite ginger flavour. The crab apple flavour is also evident, though the ginger softens the sourness, so that it is negligible. An intriguing and unusual cider, quite unlike the Thistly Cross ginger cider. Waulkmill have created something quite original. Comes in a 330 ml bottle. Shame about the odour! Obtained direct from Waulkmill.
