Comes in a 330 ml bottle. Muckle Toon is a Scots expression, meaning a large town, and in this case refers to Langholm, the nearest large town to Waulkmill (a waulk mill was a finishing mill for woven woollen cloth). This is a whisky cask matured still cider. The aroma is sharp and acrid, like an under-ripe apple. The flavour is sharp and crisp, but lacks complexity, or much of an aftertaste, which I would have expected from a whisky cask maturation; there is no discernible tannin or oak. Drinkable, but nothing out of the ordinary. Obtained direct from Waulkmill.

Quite drinkable Scottish cider. Pours a golden colour with no head and aroma of musty apple, fruity with wood & oaky notes. Taste is mellow, apple, sweetish, fruity, with alittle funk, some woody oak and dryness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry earthy finish. 330ml bottle from Waulkmill online.
