Hereford Gold

With salty peanuts in hand, I popped open the can to be greeted with a lovely light opaque straw color with a slight sour scent that leads into a sour-dry flavor that continues to linger longer than a hummingbird at a Spring flower. 🌺

Solid, bitter cider. Not too sweet, with a decent amount of carbonation.

A great choice for someone looking for earth, funk, and bitterness because all of these elements are balanced really well in a bright (yet murky) golden cider. Impressive in all that it offers really, but those elements are just not my favorite. Could pair well with something on the opposite side of the spectrum, something sweet perhaps.

Dry with some funk and tartness. Tastes more French style than anything else to me.

Golden colour, moderate heavy fizz and heavy cloudiness. Fresh aroma with a little funk. Tangy flavour with wood. Sharp and tannic.

Clear golden pour. Moderate carbonation. Bold taste with a bright acidity and nice tannins(tea-like element). Bittersharp apples standout with a crisp and slight bitterness. Moderate tartness. Bone dry. Light to medium bodied.

Heavy on the bittersweets and very strong flavor; lightly cloudy; wild yeast is prominent in nose and taste.
