Organic Perry

Pale yellow in colour with a funky farmyardy taste in the best possible way.

I've had several perry's before and found them either too sweet or vinegary. I really like this Perry. It typical dunkertons taste but relively sweet compared to dunkertons apple ciders yet not sickly. This perry has more lingering tastes which evolve with time to finish on a drier sensation.

Clear golden pour. Light fruit and orchard aroma. Taste is has a really nice soft and juicy pear flesh and mineral flavor. Can also taste a bit of pear skin as well.

Pale yellow, with a sweet pear drop aroma, overlying strong funk. The initial flavour is of sweet, ripe pear, but this gives way to a drier edge, and a rich aftertaste with moderate funk and a woody edge. Pleasant, drinkable perry, with some complexity, and a traditional feel. Obtained direct from Dunkertons.

Pale yellow, light fizz and slightly hazy. Pear drop and floral aroma. Ripe sweet pear flavour gives way to drier notes. Some wood and funk.

This just launched in the U.S., $9 for 500ml. Its a true perry (no apples, and its even made from perry pears). Notes of citrus (lemon and grapefruit), mineral, white grape, pear, and floral. Nice complexity and well crafted. I don't like sourness though.
