Yellow in colour, with an aroma which combines the leather of an old horse harness, with straw and apple skin.
The tart and fruity initial flavour does not develop, and there is little discernible aftertaste, though there is a dryness there, and a little tannic astringency.
This is noticeably more alcoholic than the Aspall Suffolk Draught, but it lacks that cider's complexity and character. A little disappointing compared to the other Aspall's ciders, but still perfectly drinkable.
