Nice refreshing cider. Lacks a bit of taste though, otherwise I’d have given it a 5/5.
It’s golden yellow, with a medium bite, the bubbles fizz on your tongue almost like a champagne.
At 6.8% you can certainly feel the effects after (even) two of these bottles.
A big bonus with this cider is it’s not that sweet. It’s light, refreshing with medium to light fruit taste and lightly tarty. It says it’s dry but it’s more of a medium dry in all fairness (to me, anyway).
The cider is nice with a ploughman’s lunch or selection of cheeses.
Another great cider from Aspall’s but just falling short of a 5/5 due to its lack of depth. Otherwise, it’s great and won’t disappoint.
