Pineapple haze

Well if you're not a pineapple fan, definitely stay away. I love it. It's superrrr pineapple-y, almost like fermented pineapple juice? Wonderful flavor and aftertaste.

The pour is a cloudy pale yellow with low effervescence. The aroma is pineapple and a little phenolic undertone. The taste is semi-sweet tart pineapple. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy. The finish is short and acidic with a pineapple note. It’s good.

Strong pineapple aroma and taste. Moderate to strong tartness. Moderate acidity. Thin body.

Pineapple goes really well with cider. The pineapple flavor is not overwhelming, but it is sort of sour, the kind of pineapple flavor you get when the fruit isn't all the way ripe yet. I think I prefer DownEast's Aloha Friday version of pineapple cider which is sweeter with more of a ripe pineapple aroma.
