fruity sweet and delish. could easily drink this all day

Once again an absolutely wonderful cider from the Kent Cider Company. The Yowler is the skull headed leader of the wassail celebrations, driving the bad spirits from the orchards. The drink itself has an incredible almost tangy aroma of fresh Kent apples with a hint of oak. Beautiful Amber colour and a taste that is truly memorable. Simply cider at its best. My only complaint is that it on comes in the small 330ml bottles. This I could happily drink all day. Very highly recommended. 😋

Comes in a 330ml bottle. The Yowler is the character who conducts the Wassail rituals. Dark amber colour, with a pungent aroma of aged oak and old straw. Tangy fruit with an edge of caramel, becoming richly tannic as a robust oakiness asserts itself. This would have had 5 stars from me had it been little less carbonated, but I felt that got in the way of the flavours, which were of sufficient depth and complexity to speak for themselves with just a light fermentation sparkle. Wish I'd had a nutty mature cheddar to accompany this. Obtained from Beer Hawk, Wetherby, Yorkshire.
