One of my favourites. In a bottle, this cider delivers. It has it all. Light colour, fizz, sharp, fruity, zingy taste - golden delicious like flavour, with a hint of caramel and summer honey. therefore has a sweetness to its otherwise ‘dry’ label. Very light in colour and golden. Taste lingers on the tongue and in your mouth - really satisfying this cider, and can be consumed on session as it’s only 5.5%. I’ve had many a 6Nations afternoon on this one. Slightly different when served on tap, this bottle is the genuine article. One of the best all -round ciders available on the mass market. Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Majestic all stock it (I know for certain, not sure about other retailers) This cider is full-bodied and complex, sharp and refreshing with a zing, but sophisticated at the same time. 5/5 in my eyes. Goes well with any meal, BBQ, lobster feast, fish and chips, steak - anything. A good cheddar would accompany this perfectly crafted mass-produced cider. Serve on ice and enjoy!

nice and refreshing but the taste is fleeting. Overall not bad, but nothing special.

would give 4 1/2 stars. nice cider with good sparkling, but the taste is going to fast down. But definitely one of those Ciders of which you can drink multiple ones at an evening. Update: I ordered multiple ones and it's getting better and better. It feels like a very fine sparkling wine among the relatively high carbonation. The apple taste comes soft along which gives a more outstanding flavor in comparison to other cider. If someone is new to cider or don't like a true strong fruit taste, then this could be the right bottle for you! And, to be honest, I give only for the bottle design one star more. The thin bottleneck has something classy. That's why I end up giving 4 1/2 grading it up from 3 1/2 stars. One of my favorite cider companies so far though.

I agree with Judge that it's too gassy, and with David that it claims to be (medium) dry when it's fairly sweet. Refreshing, but nothing more.

Aspall Draught Cyder (5.5% ABV, 500ml). Made in Suffolk from various bittersweet culinary and dessert apples, this appears to be one of the most popular ciders in the UK. Despite being bottled it's now called "Draught" because it's also available on tap in restaurants and pubs in the UK. Pale clear yellow colour. Light, crispy almost floral apple aroma, with a hint of pear. Medium body, modest carbonation. Sour, green apples on the palate at first, and again there's a floral-herbal note, too. Lemony, "green" note persists into the dry finish, with floral elements, green apple in the aftertaste. Lingering sourness. Certainly very refreshing and probably goes great with many foods. On its own though, a tad too sour for my taste. 6/10.

Light 'cyder' which I would describe as sharp/acidic and quite gassy but having said that it's one I'd have again.

I expected nothing less from Aspall in Suffolk, an absolutely beautiful cider with nothing but apples. The crisp tart taste cuts through and kills any thirst stone dead. Could happily drink this all day. Very highly recommended.

Clear light straw colour, high carbonation. Slight floral aroma. Sweet initial flavour (maybe artificially created to please moder pallets) with the sourness which overtakes the sweet. Purchased in a holiday pub on the East Coast.
