Bourbon Barrel Peach Cider

Don't usually like peach flavored ciders or bourbon barrel ciders but the two together in this cider is quite nice! Pleasantly surprised😊

A very happy beverage. Bright tasting, peaches is the minimal flavor with apples the stronger and yes, there is just a hint of a bourbon barrel in there. Had this on draft.

Wow. This is definitely a mash up. I am still new to the cider world but I have never tasted anything like it. The aroma is lightly peach, but the taste is both an earthy thick sensation, a little tart, and then ends in the back of the throat sweet. I am not a bourbon drinker but I am guessing that is the taste I can't name. Try this one with an open mind and palette!

There’s a lot going on here. This is one of the thickest-bodied ciders I’ve had. Most of the flavor comes from the peach and the bourbon. The actual apple cider is there to help carry those tastes and aromas. That all being said, I think this combination works and is quite tasty. It is sweet enough that one is enough for me; not cloying by any means, but on the sweet side of semisweet.
